Sharing stories of participants' stories in monthly workshop and outreach programmes.
A new joiner said: It is a surprise to me that my body gets used to dance with all other participants so naturally!
“I always have a thought that people would feel comforting when I touch them this way. To my surprise, my body actually reacted differently as what’s in my mind when I was being touched.”
TszChun has invited a friend to come along. His friend didn’t have any clue of what we would do, but thought he's just watch. Surprisely, he ended up dancing with us.
“TszChun has cheated his friend.” We laughed.
“I deliberately didn’t tell him what it will like. I believe it wouldn’t be anything better than trying out himself.”
Our body responds more direct than our mind. We can see and understand ourselves better through the body movements when interacting with people as they are just like a mirror. With this new awareness, we are able to make new choices and create many more possibilities.
“Are we improvising?” A new participant asked.
“It does not look beautiful.” Another participant replied.
May be, you feel you don’t dance beautifully, or think you don’t know how to dance.
Perhaps it’s time for us to think again what is dancing.
When such beautiful picture happen in front of you, would anyone still say you don’t know how to dance?
